The rest of the fun.

Here's a few photos from the rest of our fun at Steel Day's in American Fork as well as our July 24th celebrations.  It's almost impossible to believe July is days away from being over.
These boys had a blast running around before the concert started.
Here's Mark, Carter, Isaac, Kristin and Brock watching the AMAZING fireworks show after the concert.

This is July 24th and the kids are launching and catching parachute guys.
Carter got to light the 'rockets' and the other boys caught the parachute guys.
Then it was over to G & G Kmetzsch's house for hotdogs and salad.
Brock
Here's Isaac, Carter, Etta, Brock and McClane eating ice cream cones before the fireworks.
The kids loved all the fireworks we had to shoot off.
It's dark but this is the majority of the family that gathered for the 24th.
Some of the last fireworks.
So that's about it.  Now the next exciting thing to look forward to is Alpine Day's and with the changes they're making to that event it may not be as exciting as one would hope but we'll see what happens.

A few fun things.

It's Steel Days in American Fork so we've had a couple of events to enjoy this week and we still have the big show and fireworks tonight.  Here's a few snapshots of what we've done already.
This is just because he's cute trying to mimic daddy.
Four cute, face painted boys!
McClane could not get enough of the blow up slides and bouncy 'stuff'.

And how can you pass up a ride in the cow train.
I would have to say that Picnic in the Park was a success (Good job Auntie Ninnin) and even though I made my four youngest leave earlier then they would have liked they still had fun and left with minimal complaining.  (I was actually the one complaining but not about leaving.  Walking around and on my feet for a couple of hours isn't so easy at the moment.)
The parade this morning was also a hit with the kids.  Carter loved every minute of it.
Mark and Josh just chillin' in the heat.
Kayli and Mark's best bud, Marcus.
Heidi and Brock finding more than enough stuff left over from Picnic in the Park to hand out to all the kids sitting around us.
Sitting on the curb awaiting candy and anything else being tossed their way.
Mark being shot at.
Greg holding McClane instead of chasing him.  This did not last long unfortunately.
It's hard to see but our nephew, J..J. and his mom are on this float due to J.J. winning the baby contest for his age group.  (He's the baby with the long black hair that looks like a black wig under the rainbow umbrella.)
Now on to the concert and fireworks tonight, which is always fun.

Happy Independence Day and more!

We had our third annual neighborhood gathering to celebrate July 4th.  Technically fireworks were restricted to a small portion of Alpine but when our neighborhood fireman said it wasn't going to be enforced a few fireworks were safely lit and enjoyed at the end of the night without having to leave the neighborhood.  (Our local fireman may or may not have been one of the contributors.)
It was a fun night with yummy food and plenty of friendly visiting and the kids had fun running free in the small section of road we had closed off.
This was bike central where they could do a little bike decorating.
Several of the boys, a few of mine included, just enjoying the evening.
Not the best photo but I had to try and document this part of the night.
And this is how the 4th of July ended for this little man, how cute is that!?
On a side note, Greg has made significant progress on the roof redo and it won't be long before this whole roofing and gutter project is done.
This was after only one evening of shingle work.  The majority of the roof is actually done at this point but I'll wait and post more photos later.
