A variety of fun and sweet

Our good friend had many amazing taxidermy displays at the recent hunting expo in Salt Lake and it was fun to go and see his skills on a massive scale as well as an endless variety of other hunting related things.

This display of sheep is a 'grand slam', one hunter, four species of sheep all hunted in the last couple years.

Charlie had her final basketball game this week and did great. Here's to another successful basketball season.
Charlie's 2024 basketball team.

I treated myself to a professional 'gel-nail' manicure and I'm obsessed! It might be time to raise Isaac's rent so I can afford to make this a regular thing.

I love stripes and polka dots!

And I had the privilege of seeing baby Reese, in person, for the 3rd time now. She's so sweet! I can't get enough!

Look at that adorable little face!

A lot of fun things this past week! And next week I get to spend the week living it up in St. George with Greg. Yippee!

Simple fun

We had the cutest girls join us for McClane's basketball game.

Apparently the buzzer was a bit too loud for Beau.

We had some fun "heart hair-dos" to celebrate Valentine's week.

This was a fun and easy one.

Greg nailed the Valentine gift this year.

And Charlie had the best time celebrating Valentine's with some of her favorite people.

Lots of simple fun and lots of love!

B-ball and babies

McClane is playing basketball and doing pretty good. He had his first opportunity to shoot free throws at his last game and Greg managed to get a photo to prove it.

We had another fun Sunday dinner and snuggles with the Wendel girls.

Harley was exhausted.

And a bonus visit the very next day with these two cuties.

And I love getting photos of baby Reese. She's starting to really change and her personality is starting to show.

She's adorable!

We sure feel lucky to have such a great family!

Such bitter sweetness!

We had the special treat of visiting baby Reese, she's just the sweetest baby!

 What a fun Sunday afternoon.

And this afternoon I got to spend a few hours with Harley and she's a hoot!

I can't believe it's already February! Baby Reese is officially 2 months old today! Time really flies!

Preference, games and Elliot

Brock went to his first school dance, Preference. He had a fun time. A pant-splitting good time!

 Fun group of friends.

He really did split his pants and had to come home and get a new pair of pants. Crazy kid!

A little domino's before Sunday dinner.

Elliot is the cutest!

    Another week down for 2024!

Sweet 16 & Babies!

I can't get enough of all the adorable photos of Reese that are shared with me. She's such a perfect doll!

Carter and Rachel had another visit with her recently.

And baby Elliot is getting so big and loves a cuddle out by the burn barrel with Kenzie.

And, believe it or not, Brock is officially 16! We originally tried celebrating on Sunday with, what was supposed to be, ice cream cake, but what it turned out to be is just frozen cake! What a bummer. Thankfully it was still yummy but we decided to give it a second try on Brock's actual birthday and it was a success. And a second yummy cake! (Who's sad about that?!)

It was Brock's 16th birthday on the 16th, the GOLDEN birthday, so we mustered up 16 gifts. We may have been scraping the barrel to claim 16 gifts but Brock wasn't complaining.
4 bags of chips, 4 12 packs of soda, 4 new pair of undies, a gift card, laser pointer, wallet and $16.

The cute girl is Brock's girlfriend, Reagan.

He seems happy.

So there you have it! Babies and a soon to be driver. Brock is all done with drivers ed he just has to wait until his 6 month mark is up before he can get his drivers license. Five drivers, only two more to go.

Settling in to 2024

Life this week definitely wasn't as exciting as the first week of 2024. Charlie started her basketball season and did an egg themed science project for her 5th grade science fair. She also had her first basketball game of the season and it wasn't great but hopefully she and her team improve over the next several weeks.
We've been made aware of real miracles amongst some of our good friends and we got some adorable pictures of baby Reese. God is good and definitely in the details of our lives.

Charlie and her amazing helper/partner, Carter, from the egg experiment.

Some first game action photos.

Adorable baby Reese

Reese's one month photos.

Now on to McClane's first basketball game this weekend and celebrating Brock's 16th birthday in just a few days. And did I mention how winter came in with a vengeance this week?! Greg's already worked 63 hours this week, most of those hours in a plow truck, and we're expecting even more this weekend. We'll take it but it sure can be brutal! January, so far so good.
