Reggie and July

Update on our cute, injured, but still alive, Reggie the rascal raccoon. She's a girl and alive and probably living her best life despite her injuries.

And, it's that time again! July's calendar photo is a banger!

Only Andy makes sense for 'front and center billing' for this photo. He's the firework expert, hands down.

Not a lengthy post, but another fun one!

adorable

We have some cute photos of babies this week.

I had no idea what I'd actually captured. Silly faces!

From Beau to Hudson, this outfit has been a great investment.

And then... a baby raccoon! I was walking with my friend, looked down by the sidewalk and saw this little guy. When I pointed him out to my friend, she screamed and ran off the sidewalk, hilarious. All she saw was the tail and was sure it was a snake. haha Anyway, this little guy was hurt and not happy so I called the only guy I know who might be able to help (and who would have gloves). Greg to the rescue! I thought for sure this little guy would end up in a final bath but Greg's colleague thought his dad would like a chance to help heal this little guy. After moving him away from the fence it was clear he had at least one broken leg. It was so sad and he kept covering his eyes with his little paws. Anyway, as of right now, he's being cared for by a nice man. Good luck to the little rascal.
So cute, but sad.

It's been a slow week for some of us. (Charlie and me) A stressful week for others, (Greg) And a fun week for others, (McClane, who's at Lake Powell for a week with his friend.). And a typical work week for the others. (Carter and Brock)
    Now on to Father's Day!

The legend and a throwback

This week wasn't near as exciting as last, with new baby Hudson to welcome to the world. But here's a photo, or two, for this week. First photo is courtesy of a neighbor who captured Greg, "the legend", doing legendary things.

Last minute mowing job for McClane and Greg came to help.

And Charlie had a little throwback from her early years that was worth sharing. This will be the photo on her new debit card. AAHHH!

And now on to the weekend fun. Oh, and another fun gel-nail to rock for the next three weeks.

Introducing!!

What a great week! We're so happy to have a new grandbaby join the fam.! Baby Wendel #4, Hudson James Wendel, weighing in at 7 lb. 6 oz. and 19 inches long. Our first grandson! A fun surprise for all of us.  But before we get to those photos, here's a couple bonus photos from this week.

The cat is a massive McClane fan.

Some of the neighbor kids/young adults stopped by to help churn ice cream and try their first "Tim Tam Slam".

Greg gave a few Harley rides to some of our favorite people.

    And now, here's baby Hudson!
Little Hudson decided not to share a birthday with Kayli. Now she'll have to say she was 29 when he was born. Last year in her 20's!

These girls are either going to mother or smother!

And then there were SIX Wendel's!

These silly girls were trying to pick up Papa.

Uncle McClane meeting baby Hudson.

Aunt Charlie is a big fan.

A fun and exciting week. It probably won't get much better than a new baby announcement. Let the blues, greens and other boy colors add to the pink, purple and girlie colors.
