Just kids

We had a fun week and we're wrapping up the week and spending the weekend in Oregon. Here's just a few photos from earlier this week.

Charlie hosting several friends for lunch.
Harley watching a show in the basement.

No better way to end Sunday, in the winter, then around the burn barrel popping Jiffy pop.

And Isaac is slowly getting his little sports car put back together.

Hopefully I'll get some good photos while we're here in Oregon celebrating, what would have been, my Grandma's 100th birthday. The weather may not cooperate but we'll still have fun.

Saturdays are fun

We love Saturdays! Fiiz, McClane's final basketball game, where he played great, and we had a fun visit from the grand-babies.

No better way to start your weekend.

These boys improved and progressed a ton this season.

Charlie is always happy when she's with friends.

Harley was having the best time cruising the neighborhood in her sweet 'ride'.

So that's last weekends highlights. The whole weeks been pretty chill and thankfully we've seen a little sun the past couple days, now how long will it last? Spring, we're impatiently waiting for your arrival!

Charlie and friends

This week I didn't take many photos but Charlie and her friends are constantly taking photos and they happily share them with me so here's a few from this past week.

Charlie's friends came to Charlie's last basketball game and really cheered her on.

Kat, Madi, and Mackenzie and of course Charlie.

We had a pretty simple week. Today is McClane's last basketball game and then we get our Saturday's back. Now if only those Saturdays will start to be more Spring-like, maybe we can start spending more time outside. OH! And only 289 more sleeps until Christmas and don't forget to Spring-forward your clocks!

Crash!

Nothing like a loud crash to wake you up at 4 A.M. on a Sunday morning. What's crazy is Greg heard the crash but couldn't seem to find the source but when I got up a few hours later and headed downstairs it became crystal clear what caused the noise. Why the top of the mantle broke off and came crashing down is still a bit of a mystery, but thankfully it was at an hour when no one was around and I honestly never really loved the design of the mirror/mantel above the fireplace so not a big disappointment. The wood was sure heavy though and only had two screws to anchor it to the wall so it's actually a surprise this didn't happen long ago.

Thankfully this was the only accident of the week. No trips to InstaCare and no other issues and a pretty slow week over all, which is why I don't have any other photos to share. And could someone please put a stop to winter and snow, please!? I'm over winter already!
