The beginning of fall adventures.

Fall is upon us! I definitely have mixed emotions. So far, we're making the most of the changing colors and the shorter days.

How cute is baby Elliot!? We can't get enough.

Beau and Charlie visited the 'Great Pumpkin' at the neighbors house.

McClane has started a new trend amongst his neighborhood friends. Bike gang beginnings!
Fun!

Greg and I went on a hiking and canyon adventure. It was so fun I went a second time with friends just two days later. Sadly, "Harriet the horny toad" wasn't around on my second visit.

We made our way on the Mahogany trail, not too hard but definitely scenic!

The colors are too much right now and obviously photos can't do justice to the vast expanse of these colorful canyons.

Thankfully this 'beast' got us where we wanted to go without any issues.

It's been a great week and I have high hopes our weekend will be even better as we tune into General Conference!

Happy!

Carter is a master fisherman and he's so happy!

Look at that monster!

Harley found her 'new' ride and she's so happy!

That smile says it all!

One of my cute young women was my twin at our activity this week and, she may not look like it, but she's happy!

(I'm pretty sure she wants all my clothing links now. Ha!)

McClane got his birthday present a little early and he's beyond happy!

I guess this is what the 'kids' want now-a-days for their birthday.

    What a happy week!

Capturing memories

Whenever Harley comes over and 'disappears' I know there's a good chance she's in my bedroom wearing my reading glasses and taking photos on my phone. She captured several of my bed and then got one of me walking in the room, catching her 'red-handed'. She's hilarious!

McClane finally got his 'training-wheels' for walking. He's catching on pretty quick. (The roller-skates are actually Carter's.)

And here's a photo of Isaac with his Taco! Nice truck, dude!

Not the busiest week but an overall good week. No big plans but we are counting down the days until McClane's 13th birthday. Let the teenage years begin!

Hard workers and cute girls in jumpers

Over the Labor Day weekend Brock and McClane had the chance to earn a little money and do some hard work manning bouncy slides and castles and then helping take the bouncy stuff down and putting it up. It was a bit chaotic and definitely some heavy lifting involved but overall, a great time with a great bunch of friends.

Best job ever working for Inflatable Fiesta!

And while these kids worked I helped sale wristbands to the bouncing fun. I also got to take a walk around some fun booths at the Latino/Americano Festival and found the cutest jumpers for Beau and Harley.

Are you kidding me!? She's too cute!

Seriously, so adorable!

There have been other events this week but none that are directly related to the kids or me.

Isaac did buy himself a 'new' truck, a 2016 Toyota Tacoma, Charcoal gray and really tough looking but I don't have a photo for this post but maybe next week. Actually, I'm really impressed with Isaac, he found the truck, arranged the loan and purchase, all on his own, and will probably have it licensed and registered by the end of next week. He's such a good boy!

Fences & facials

Greg and our neighbor, Gina, busted their butts and put up a, much needed, fence in Gina's yard. Gina really did most of the work, including digging all the post holes while Greg came in and did the fun part, and I sat like a princess and watched. Not the worst way to spend a Saturday afternoon/evening. Now maybe Gina's dogs won't escape anymore and she also gained some much needed privacy.

Looking good!

Then the kids had themselves a spa day and for some reason my teenage boys got in on the facials. Fun times! (Really any excuse to be with the cute girls.)

Don't mind Brock's newly purchased cow-onsie.

What a fun group of kids.

So that's the weeks highlights. Our Labor Day weekend is looking busy with work opportunities for a few of us and free time for the rest. It's also looking like cooler weather is headed this way so hopefully ice cream doesn't get rained out.

Oh yeah! Brock got his driving permit, finally! Let the 'begging to drive' begin!

Happy Day!

And only 115 more sleeps until Christmas, just so you know.
