Easter fun

Cute girls running for eggs! A sneak peak into Reese's Easter fun. And Charlie had a little school project. (Have I mentioned how excited I am to be done with the elementary school?! Only 27 sleeps to go.)

Elliot couldn't get to the eggs fast enough.

Cute Harley.

Beau's a pro egg collector.

Happy Easter from the Wendel's.

Sweet Reese and her siblings.

Charlie as Anne Frank.

Tomorrow we're excited to participate at the Saratoga Springs temple with Morgan and Isaac as they receive their endowments. Only 11 days until their big day!

Showers galore

How cute is Reese!? Look at those curls. She's the cutest! I'm so glad we get to have a peak into her life fairly often.

I'm loving my Easter themed nails.

Now let the bridal shower festivities begin! First we attended a bridal shower for Morgan that her neighbor hosted. It was great and she was well taken care of with many attendees and some very generous gifts.

Harley was happy to help with the gift opening.

Then it was bridal shower number 2, hosted by the mom's and big sis, Kayli. Kayli really went all out on decor and Morgan's mom, Kristin, nailed it with the food, delicious crepes!

Kayli at least held back and left the balloon arch for another day.

The scratch off game was a hit.

Prizes for the game winners.

Shockingly, this game was even hard for Morgan's mom, but she did win with 7 out of 10 right.

Who doesn't love a good crepe bar!?

Harley was a big fan!

And look who won the groom scratch-off game! Beau was so excited to see Isaac's photo behind her scratch off card.

And look who came to help the bride. How sweet!

There was a little question and answer portion of the night. After nearly four years together, Isaac knows Morgan pretty well.

 Some more great gifts.

Super fun night!

Next week Isaac and Morgan are going through the temple and receiving their endowments. Everything is coming together and happening fast! We can hardly believe it's only three weeks away from the big day. We're so excited for the happy couple!

A little gem

This week hasn't had much excitement to report on. I did receive a significant answer to prayer on the issue I mentioned last week, which is amazing, but it's hard to report on, on the blog.
I did remember I had this little video to share of Isaac test driving Carter's motorcycle, enjoy.

And speaking of Isaac, we bought him his ceremonial clothes for the temple and his first few pair of garments tonight. Only two weeks until he receive's his endowment. Pretty wild!

Pretty much all Charlie

It's been a very simple Spring Break for the three youngest kids and I only have photo evidence of Charlie's fun stuff. I'm sure Brock and McClane have had fun but there's no photo proof.

We finally have the trampoline set up. (This cost way more then expected.)

Now if only the weather would cooperate!

Charlie spent a couple days with her sister and nieces, which led to some fun stuff. Butterflies, bowling, and friends for the win.

She also convinced Gina to let her tagalong while Gina ran errands.

And, I can't forget to mention, Greg and I had the great privilege of attending "Messiah in America" last Saturday. This was a production of 3 Nephi Chapter 18 that can't be expressed in words. It was phenomenal! A kind friend and ward member, who was part of the choir, extended the invitation and supplied the tickets and got us incredible seats. It was an experience we would have, otherwise, never known about but one we won't want to miss in the future. Don't walk, but run to get your tickets if the opportunity presents itself to see this amazing musical.

And I also have to mention prayers, even odd ones, are answered! I won't go into detail, because it would be too confusing, but I prayed for a comedian to learn more about our church because he was convinced 'mormon's' aren't christian's and, believe it or not, he came to do a comedy show and while in Salt Lake attended a sacrament meeting! Pretty crazy! And now my next prayer and hope in a miracle is he'll have David Butler on his podcast where he can get a real deep dive into what we believe. Let the miracle commence!
