Not my fun

We’ve had another simple week with no photos. Our Sunday evening ice cream gathering was a bust, thanks to the weather. We still set up and tried gathering in the garage, but very few were willing to brave the weather. We’ll try again this Sunday.

Isaac and Morgan are the ones that had a fun week and I’m quite sure they have way more photos but here’s the ones I’ve seen and felt needed to be shared.

Thank goodness Isaac can drive a stick shift so he could take Grandma Elaine’s cool car for a spin.

It is currently fall break for the school kids, and it would’ve been super fun to go to the Oregon coast, but, alas, no money and Greg’s water responsibilities make it impossible. Thank goodness the P.I. water is officially off, though, and now Greg can, maybe, take a little breather in the near future.

I did find out this week that I’m OLD and my feet are tired of repetitive exercise. (Another ridiculous punishment for trying to take care of myself.) I am now a victim of plantar fasciitis. Getting old is DUMB!!

Less exciting week

This week has been far less eventful of fun things to photograph. There have been less exciting things that I didn’t think to photograph, like the flat tire I discovered after my nail appointment. That led to getting a new set of tires that same day. (Bye-bye savings account!)

I also did not photograph kids going to the dentist and thankfully not having any cavities but finding a substantial bill waiting from the two older boys who did have cavities recently. (Thank goodness they have money to pay for that themselves.) So all I have to share this week for photographs is my first set of fall gel nails for this season.

Love!

General conference weekend was great and now we get to look forward to Greg getting a break from the water chores and fall break for the school-kids.

McClane is 16!

McClane has hit a massive milestone this week! Meet our newest licensed driver and 16 year old guy.

Fun gifts from Charlie and the parents

We love our Costco chocolate cake.

And now that fall has officially arrived I feel good about putting out my Halloween decorations.
Greg grew many, many pumpkins, 34 in all. (We shared the majority of them with family and friends.)

Spooky but mostly cute.

And now photos from McClane’s actual birthday.

Balloons, energy drinks, candy and underwear make it a real party.

And here we see McClane “maugging” for the camera. (That’s the teenage verbiage for “mugging”, I think.)

Now on to a quiet General Conference weekend.
