18, bathtubs, variety!

Not only has Kayli graduated from high school but as of Tuesday she's officially become an "adult"! For her 18th birthday she got special permission to be out past curfew with her boyfriend. They danced under the gazebo at the nearby park, ate an early/late breakfast at IHOP, watched a movie out under the stars, and slept on her boyfriends basement floor for several hours and then wrapped it all up with a trip to the "Puppy Barn".
The Puppy Barn is a dangerous place! I refuse to go because I don't know if  I could leave without bringing a puppy home.
Her last bunch of balloons! (The tradition ends at adulthood.)
Then there was the boys and a bathtub. Our neighbors bought this big tub for their new bathroom only to realize it had a crack in it. Thankfully it didn't cost much. The boys decided to claim it as theirs for some "high adventure".

Floating it down the creek didn't go so well but it was fun trying. Maybe a better use would be a cold tub vs. a hot tub.
It was too cold to sit in for more then a few seconds but they had fun trying.

This was fun for the hour the water was in it before it all leaked out. I'm sure this won't be their last attempt with the bathtub but thankfully they did remove it from my driveway.
Charlie loves having all her siblings home with her all day. She gets to play out front a lot more. They take her all around in the bike trailer and she just gets to roam around with them. Down the street she found a table and chair just her size.

And last but not least, the five boys convinced me to take them to Seven Peaks Waterpark Thursday evening. Charlie and Greg stayed home and Kayli had work. The boys had a blast and going later in the day is great because the crowds are gone and the lines are short.

We've survived the first week of summer vacation! Now on to week two!

Looks like a pretty fun week. That 'cold' bathtub will feel good when the temperature is in the 100's.
