Halloween 2013

We all survived and enjoyed another Halloween.
Cute bunny Charlie.
Brock as Bumblebee.
Mark was Benny from Sandlot.
McClane started out as Spiderman but had a little accident in the afternoon and ended up as Superman.
Isaac went as a Creeper from the game, Minecraft.
And Carter was a zombie who was hoping for a better make-up job than this one.
After the school parade it was time for the family traditions to start.

All seven kids were pretty cooperative for this photo, a rare occasion.
This is about the only photo of Kayli in her carrot onsie.  You'll have to ask her why she chose this costume and spent a small fortune on it.
First stop is Annette's, Greg's co-worker and such a sweet lady.  She always has a special treat for the kids and even me and Greg.  (She's also the sweet lady who bought Jackie's Ford Escape before her mission and still drives it around with the Roxy sticker on the back window.)
Then it's the annual visit to 'grandma' Sally's for sloppy joe's and lots of hugs and kisses.  I think she told Kayli she was gorgeous about a dozen times.
And this is Sally's daughter Leslie and her husband.  They enjoyed snuggling Charlie a little.
Here's Isaac, Brock, McClane and Carter on Sally's swing as we were heading out.
Then we stopped at G & G's and got to see cute baby J.J. and Camille.

And cute cousin Ava got to snuggle little Charlie for a minute.
And here's Carter getting the make-up he'd been hoping for all day.  Thanks Auntie Missa!
After G & G's we all went to the nearby haunted barn where we all, minus Charlie, went through a very spooky haunted 'house'.  McClane insisted on going no matter how many times I tried to convince him otherwise but he actually did surprisingly well.  He had one moment of hysterics over a very creepy clown/monster/doctor but he wasn't crying by the end so that was impressive.  I wasn't so much scared as anxious at the pitch-black maze that's in the middle of all the creepy stuff.  Brock was with me and he did great.  He kept his transformer mask on so his peripheral vision was impaired which was probably a good thing.  After the haunting the kids finally got to come back to our neighborhood to do some regular trick or treating while I stayed home and handed out a little bit of candy to the few trick or treaters that were still out.
Mark didn't do too bad.
Isaac was happy with his loot.
Carter also got a good amount of candy.
Brock was happy with his stash.
And McClane has a good pile too.
Over all I think we would all say it was a successful Halloween.

All very cute, but the bunny and the carrot stole the show. Lots of candy at Halloween (that's why I had 6 kids.)
