Twice the birthday fun

Carter is 10!!! How come these kids have to keep growing up and the double digits hit way too soon! Here's some highlights of Carter's special day.
Birthday Cards, soda and balloons!
Birthday money from G & G Baker. (Thanks Grandma and Grandpa.)
10-$10's! He's RICH!!!
Happy Birthday song gone WRONG!
Make a wish!
Carter found $10 dollars in 10 balloons and that set the kid off on a mission to purchase his very own Xbox 360. Every day he would look on the local classified ads and find one that looked promising and then would beg his dad to call and arrange a meeting. After several busy days he and his dad finally had the time to contact a seller and Carter was able to purchase an Xbox 360 for $90 that came with several fun sporting games. Now he can relax and just enjoy his new toy. I'm really hoping the novelty of it wears off soon though because it is definitely not my favorite thing for my kids to have access to on a regular basis.
NEXT.....
Mark is 15! Here are the highlights from his birthday.
These 15 balloons do NOT have $10's in them.
This is what Mark requested for his birthday.
Mark's superb choice in birthday cakes! (It will never get OLD! Well this particular cake might get old if we don't eat it soon but there's no chance of it sitting around that long.)
Happy Birthday singing gone all wrong, again!
Both boys were pretty happy boys on their birthdays. I was a happy girl getting Jell-O cheesecake on Sunday and chocolate chocolate cake on Thursday. Now we can relax to guitar strumming and Xbox playing. And only one more month to prepare for Kayli's big 18th birthday! (Oh and high school graduation a few days before that.)

Happy Birthday to Carter and Mark! It seems like we were just there yesterday. It's hard to believe we have already been home two weeks! I better get my blog updated before I fall too behind.
